I will be honest and share that I have never seen a natural weave like this in person. At least I wasn't aware of it if I did! So when I saw this pic of Chrisette Michelle at an Essence event over the weekend, while I am not a fan of the color at all, I decided I really like the shape and look. It reminds me of a few day old twist out or something. What do you all think? Would you get a "natural" weave?

I will be honest and share that I have never seen a natural weave like this in person. At least I wasn't aware of it if I did! It reminds me of a few day old twist out or something. What do you all think? Would you get a "natural" weave?

ReplyDeleteYes! I actually have one right now. Natural weaves are just the tight spiraled weave, combed out. Everyone thinks it's my hair.
ReplyDeleteI've never had a weave before but if I did, I imagine I would want something that mimicked my natural hair texture. Jennifer, did you have your hair braided first? How long do you keep yours in?
ReplyDeleteIt's not really the weave, it's the whole look. She's a BEAUTIFUL gal, but that whole look is just not a good one for her.
ReplyDeletePeople do it as a protective style or to wait until their hair grows some length. Not my thing but I see nothing wrong with other natural's doing it.
