I slept in those huge rollers overnight (was not an easy task!) and when I awoke, these were my results!
This was after it had been down all day en semi-humid conditions. I put a scarf around it to get it off my face since I OD'd on the CocoShea mix. It was getting all over my face and that is a no no!
So all in all I really like it. I had been rocking these twists for a few days and wanted to spice it up before I untwisted them. It was very fluffy and bouncy and I got some compliments. So overall, it was worth it and I will definitely try the dry Twist N Curl again! Thanks Nikki!
this is so nice, and your make-up is pretty!
ReplyDeleteThat style looks hot on you. may have to try that....I usually do wet twist or dry twist as some of my staple protective styles.
ReplyDeletegorgeous. it just got better as the day went on
ReplyDeleteThis came out very nice!
ReplyDeleteYour hair and make-up is beautiful. What color/brand eye shadow is that? What do you use on your face? It is flawless!
ReplyDeleteYeah I couldn't sleep in rollers lol. I get the same effect with a bantu knot out.
ReplyDeleteAs always you and your hair are gorgeous:)
Thanks everybody! Sometimes an experiment turns out well!
ReplyDelete@JC- Thanks! Yeah those rollers were a beast!
@Anon 3:07- I have on Bare Minerals foundation in Tan, but I put that on earlier that morning. Then on my eyes I have on a Rimmel color that is kinda coppery (i dont know the name). In the crease I put some black shadow and overtop of the copper I put a MAC shade of deep blue. Under the brow bone I put a shimmery gold color. I lined the inner part of my eyes with black and around the outside with a Rimmel blue pencil. I put on some covergirl blush and gold lipgloss. HTH!
Your hair is muy caliente
ReplyDeletei love your hair and your blog! been checking it out for awhile! any tips on how to get my edges to grow, i have tried it all and it makes me sad. thanks!
ReplyDeleteHey Naomi, thanks for reading! I found this thread, I'm sure there are plenty others out there, with ladies talking about exactly what you're talking about. http://www.longhaircareforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=164417&page=5
ReplyDeleteAssuming your edges aren't completely damaged, you are going to have to be patient and extra gentle. Massage them daily in a gentle circular motion and apply a light oil ever few days or so. Use styles that do not put tension on your edges. Good luck and HTH!
hair looks fantastic! and I love your eye makeup! blue eyes have been my thing lately :)
ReplyDeleteLove this style!
ReplyDeleteThanks BGLH!
